Ready Dance Youth Project

Join us to move, play and create together! These classes for youth with and without disabilities explore contemporary dance, improvisation, and choreography in a fun and creative environment with live music.

Experience the joy of moving and performing in an inclusive space where individuality and diversity are celebrated. No experience necessary. New participants welcome!



Accessibility information:

  • The Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre is a physically accessible building.
  • ASL interpretation is available upon request by September 6th, 2021
  • Participants who require one-to-one support must provide their own assistant.

This program provides young dancers and musicians with and without disabilities a unique opportunity to be a part of a week- long creative process. Working closely with facilitators Harmanie Rose (All Bodies Dance), Danielle Wensley (All Bodies Dance) and musician Ben Brown (Pugs and Crows) participants will explore movement, making music and performance creation. The program offers participants an opportunity to experience the joy of moving and performing while also gaining new skills. This residency is an inclusive space where individuality and diversity are celebrated.
